Glances allows you to create invoices and estimates directly from monday. Additionally, it can pre-fill invoice and estimate data to remove manual data entry and reduce human error.
If you don't yet have a Glances account, we recommend starting a free trial and connecting both QuickBooks and monday.com. Once you have an account, you can reach out to support@glances.com or schedule a personalized onboarding call to customize your account and the data you'd like to sync. |
When creating estimates or invoices, you always have the option to create them and fill in the services and products manually. However, Glances can also pull into the invoice or estimate fields from monday for simpler creation. Glances can:
- Populate the invoice or estimate using monday data
- Prioritize invoice or estimate items based on Status
- Sync data back from QuickBooks to monday
Populate the invoice or estimate using monday data
In the screenshot above, you see the subitem data pulls into the invoice. Here are some common mappings customers use:
monday.com Board Column | QuickBooks Invoice Field |
Subitem name | Description |
QB Product/Service* | Product or Service* |
Quantity | Quantity |
Price | Unit Price |
*To use pre-fill this data, the fields for each product/service must match exactly in both monday.com and QuickBooks.
Prioritize invoice or estimate items based on Status
Using a Status column, Glances can determine what needs to be included in the invoice or estimate, pulling in just the items you actually want to include. This is helpful when your board may have unique customers as items, but use sub-items to track various orders over time.
