monday.com empowers your team to collaborate and complete projects effectively as well as manage workflows and processes. With Glances, you can harness other app data (such as your Stripe billing data, your QuickBooks Estimates, or FreshBooks Clients) directly from monday.com or see monday.com data from other apps. Additionally, you can complete Actions from other apps.

Connection Requirements
To connect to monday.com, you will:
- Navigate to My Apps within your Glances dashboard and click the app's gear icon. (If you don't see the app you need, you can add it.)
- Click + to add a Team or Personal Connection.
- Enter your monday.com API v2 Token (find information on locating this token here).
- Click Connect.
- Enter your monday.com login credentials.
Additional Settings Required
After connecting, you will also need to scroll down the page and complete additional required settings so we know which board to view and which field to search by. To do this, find the Glance you'd like to enable and click the gear icon.
Once connected, you can search for monday data within the Glances widget. To make changes to the data that displays, you can edit your Glances at any time.
Install Glances on monday.com
In addition to seeing monday.com data from anywhere, you can also install the Glances item view directly in monday.com to easily see other data from within monday.com. To install the app on monday.com, follow the steps below:
- From within monday.com, click on your profile picture in the bottom left corner of the page and click Apps marketplace.
- Within the search bar, search Glances and click on the Glances app.
- Click Install App.
- Review the permissions and click Install.
- Select the Item View.
You will now be able to view data directly from the Item View within monday.com. To ensure you can search for the right data, click the Settings tab to set the column that Glances should use when searching for data, as shown in the image below. This settings option allows for flexibility in the search data types available, such as Email, Name, Invoice Number, Estimate Number, etc.
Setting Up Customer Specific Board Items Glance
For the Customer Specific Board Items Glance, additional settings are required to ensure the Glance works as expected. To provide the settings, scroll down the page and complete additional required settings.
Board Name: Select the board you want to view items from.
Filter Field: Select the field that should be used to search by.
Related Board Link: Select the related board whose items you want to see.
For example, if you have a Customers board and a Projects board and you would like to view all the projects related to a specific customer (and search by name), you would select:
Board Name: Customers
Filter Field: Name
