Glances brings back key data back into monday.com so you can continue working without interruption of navigating back and forth between platforms. We call this feature Post-Action app updates. For example, after creating an invoice the invoice number, total, balance, and status will appear in the columns of your monday board. Using the invoice number to make the match, Glances will also keep this data up-to-date as the invoice is paid.
If you don't yet have a Glances account, we recommend starting a free trial and connecting both QuickBooks and monday.com. |
There are two commons ways customers use this feature. While both scenarios use invoices as the example, other data can be brought back from QuickBooks into monday, such as estimates, bills, or vendor data. If you have specific data you'd like to bring back, please reach out to us at support@glances.com.
Create invoices from multiple boards, sync QuickBooks data to one unified invoices board
Create invoices from one board, sync QuickBooks data to same board
Create invoices from multiple boards, sync QuickBooks data to one unified board
This option is how Glances is set up by default. In this scenario, you and your team use many boards to send invoices from. For example, perhaps you have a board for event registrations and a board for big projects as well as a board for enterprise customers for a dedicated account management team. Invoices can be created from any of the boards, but data from QuickBooks syncs back to one unified invoicing board.
Create invoices from one board, sync QuickBooks data to same board
This option can be set up by the Glances team. In this scenario, you and your team use a single board to create and manage invoices. Invoices are created from this board and after creation, the data syncs back to this same board.
